A Tale of Two Timelines

Svishal

Svishal is certain that her alternate self feels as she does about the Fly's oppressive theocracy.

Jeerlin

Jeerlin is the wayward husband. He claimed to be doing engineering work at the fortress of Wikow, while he was actually living it up in the court of the empress fly under the name Jase.

Sketch

Sketch is the pilot who's been flying Jeerlin between universes. On the Poba timeline, he is known as Ovax.

Jetcha

Jetcha is another pilot serving the Fly. Born on the Poba timeline, she is the daughter of Poba's father, Serpenlino, and a woman named Sheze who was never born on Svishal's timeline.

Bagus

Bagus is the third Poba-verse pilot. He was born as a woman named Prolmia. Unlike Sketch and Jetcha, he had an alternate self on the Svishal timeline, so he changed his gender to hide the duplication from authorities when when he sneaked over.

Serpenlino

Serpenlino is Poba's father. On Svishal's timeline, he lectures against mutant creatures, but in the Poba-universe, he is his daughter's champion.

Puflet

Puflet is Poba's mother. She has no counterpart on the Poba-timeline.

Poba

Poba was damaged by a terrorist attack on Svishal's timeline, but she has come into her own on the timeline she split off.

Orgmorgan

Orgmorgan is Head of the Pilots Guild on both timelines.

Vokor

Vokor fled Svishal's timeline after his parents caused a galaxy-wide cataclysm. On the Poba timeline, he is the Empress's son-in-law.

Tlashiu

Tlashiu is a hermit unaffected by politics.

Ulf

Ulf is Svishal's brother, an entertainer.

Strithie

Strithie is Svishal's ex-lover and only friend.

Horl

Horl was the galaxy's evil mastermind during the Decadent Epoch. He reformed after being overthrown. The man on Svishal's timeline is a copy, but the Poba-Horl is the original.

Theoxo

On Svishal's timeline, Theoxo is Director of the Chronon-Twistor Network, but Poba's timeline has no chronon-twistor network, so he designs paper airplanes.

Glich

On Svishal's timeline, Glich is manager of the Meru-Iola Chronon-Twistor. On the Poba-timeline, she worked for Transway Authority.

Shell

Shell is Serpenlino's half-sister. She defends mutant animals on Svishal's timeline. On the Poba-Timeline, she works closely with the Empress.

Vedina

On Svishal's timeline, Vedina heads the Empire's Third Branch of Government. There is no Third Branch in the Poba-verse.

Deov

Deov is Tradition Master of the Imperial Minors—the Empire's armed forces—on both timelines.

Four Bishops

The Four Bishops head the Church of the Fly. Since they were born after the timelines split, they have no counterparts in Svishal's universe.

Katora

Katora heads the Mindsea Academy of Alonaton in Svishal's universe. On her timeline, the Fly put her stepmother, Sheze, in charge of the Mindsea Academy and sent Katora to Wikow.

Ganshin

On Svishal's timeline, Ganshin is Emperor. On Poba's timeline, he is a detainee on Wikow.

Dilora

Dilora is Katora's daughter. She is Ganshin's wife in the Poba-verse.

Brise

Brise is Vedina's wife in the Poba-verse. She was born after the timelines split, and doesn't have a counterpart in Svishal's universe.

Krorlet

Krorlet is Commandant of the Imperial Pilot School on Svishal's timeline. On Poba's timeline, Vokor runs the school.

Quixa

On Svishal's timeline, Quixa died in the Cataclysm. In the Poba-verse, she is Horl's wife.

Salomano

Salomano is the god of the Nanders. As a god, he acts simultaneously on multiple timelines.
