Hunter is a man of the Code, born on a warship that has been enroute for generations to attack the hated Empire of the Common Mind and put a stop to their enemies' degradation of the Goddess-given human genetic code.

Thermeon is Emperor of the Common Mind. He feels that he is a just and enlightened ruler who works to lead his people to a spiritual awakening, and requires only the guidance of his goddess-star in order to succeed. People of the Code worship a goddess. Could it be she?

Orgmorgan is Head of the Pilots Guild of the Empire of the Common Mind.

Deov is a member of the Imperial Minors of the Galactic Empire of the Common Mind. The minors make up the imperial armed forces. On duty, they wear golden armor, with plumes and surcoats in the emperor's colors. The imperial insignia appears on the chest, usually animated.

Horl ran the Empire before Thermeon overthrew him, and committed many evil acts, including kidnapping people of the Code Empire. He claims to have reformed.
